Bible Journaling

Beautiful Word Teen Bible review

We bought my daughter, who is ten years old, a Beautiful Word Teen Bible for Christmas this year. She has been asking for a journaling bible for about a year, but I could not find one that was appropriate for her age. They published this bible in October of this year and I was excited! The illustrated pictures are geared towards girls and are ready to be colored in. There is also space for them to created there own pictures and artwork. We chose one of the imitation leather bound bibles, but they also come in hard back. We thought the leather would last longer than the hard bound cover.

This version is in the NIV. There are some pages without pictures as you can see above there are lines so you can take notes. The paper is thick just like any other journaling bible and made for pens/makers/crayons/etc… We chose just colored pencils and twistable crayons for my daughter till she learns more about journaling. The artwork throughout the Bible is just beautiful and very age appropriate for preteen and teen girls alike.

Does anyone else have a teen or preteen girl with another journaling bible that they like? I would be curious if there was another out there. I believe they are about to publish one from the same company for girls with an even younger age group in mind coming this spring.
