My journey into a new way of doing things started about 3 months ago when life was turning me on its head again and I couldn’t find my way and needed an anchoring point. I kept looking for a way to have some organization to my prayer, a way to keep all the thoughts and special quotes I was finding that were helping along the way from getting lost. When I ran across the War Binder/Journal, it was like a gift. It has been around for about 3 years, but was very new to me. The concept was started when the movie War Room came out around 2015. This ingenious idea has organized my prayer, thankfulness, daily verses to read, sermon notes, and quotes/special verses.
Life has been flipping upside down and inside out for awhile and this keeps me right side up.
This is the travelers notebook I chose and it can be found at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. I have 6 books in mine at the moment.

You can make yours as easy as you want with a spiral bound notebook or you can purchase a traveler’s notebook. There are many varieties/colors etc… Other people have done different subjects for their books …
- book notes
- bible study
- prayer requests
- inspiration
You can add whatever you like to the notebook to make it your own, which is why I love it so much. I hope you have fun creating yours, and that it will give you a place to put thoughts, prayers and words of encouragement along your journey. I hope it also becomes an anchor and a place of focus when life is crazy.
– We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf. Hebrews 6: 19-20a
Great way to organize

I appreciate this post so much. You were encouraged by God to write this in June, and it feels as though it were written just for me on this day in November. I am grateful and excited to begin. Many blessings to you and much light along the way. ~Eve
